The Jim Shea Award
Each month we award a staff member the Jim Shea Award, dedicated to our Founder Jim Shea, who through his vision and determination, pioneered one of the most successful and largest of Sanitary and Hygiene companies in the small business industry.
Jim empowered and supported his family members and team, to be committed to consistently identify, clarify and analyse environmental impacts resulting from it’s activities and ensuring these activities are environmentally sound.
At Enviro-LCS our passion grows everyday, with more to learn, more to build and more problems to solve to ensure our customers always remain satisfied and confident that we take our work seriously and that we care.
The Jim Shae Award is to given to the staff member who we feel is displaying their commitment to following in the footsteps of Jim Shae, with the vision to ensure the best outcome for our clients, with a spring in their step and a smile on their face, each and everyday.
January 2025 ~ Adriana Challita, Gavan Martin, Colin Pezet and Veronica Hewetson
This team has received the highest accolade with the recent installation for the for a large sydney client. The team installed over 1200 sanitary units, air fresheners and sanitising hand wipes across the campus.They worked as a team to make sure all the services were installed before clients request date.
The great work was acknowledged by our client who was made aware of how responsive and professional everyone one from the Enviro team was. This installation was by no means a simple one, the pre planning that took place was very meticulous. A credit to everyone involved as I am very proud of the professionalism we demonstrated to ensure the installation was a success. This installation has given our customer the confidence to further partner with the Enviro team with other opportunities.
November 2024 ~ Rita Galea, Service Technician
Rita has been with Enviro since June 2024. She is assigned the Central Coast, Hunter, Newcastle run. The feedback we are receiving from the two key clients, is nothing short of excellent. The clients are praising Rita’s quality of work, her can-do attitude and her customer first focus is what differentiates Enviro from the rest of the competitors in this space. We are looking forward to seeing this region grow and this will happen by having great people like Rita on board. Well done Rita, keep up the great work.

October 2024 ~ Mauricio Raiola, Service Technician
Mauricio was recognised for the support he gives the team whenever needed. He works his run and when required backs up other runs when there are gaps and any unplanned leave. Mauricio has consistently embraced change without any fuss. The clients he services recognise him with the quality of work he delivers. He is punctual and will always go above and beyond.
Well done Mauricio you are a great asset to the Enviro team.
Dennis Tamaki , Service Technician
Sy Ikitogia , Service Technician
Sy received 4 nominations primarily for his can do attitude as he continues to take on more work and support the team with no fuss. Sy has been described as the quiet achiever.
Sy works day and night shifts and is consistently reliable with his attendance. He is the consummate team player.

Gavin Martin, Compliance Officer
Gavin is the consummate team player he is invested in getting the best for and out of the team. When assigning him various tasks within the compliance portfolio, Gavin doesn’t just check off his list of tasks, but rather, shows great initiative going beyond what is asked of him. He has been instrumental also in supporting the service team because compliance and service are more and more working hand-in-hand. He has offered himself for assistance, with service queries, playing a very important role in supporting our service supervisors with their work. Gavin continues to demonstrate that he is motivated and committed to both self improvement and vocational improvement, and continues to grow in his knowledge and skills through the work that he is doing. On several occasions over the past month Gavin has been highly complimented by our clients for his promptness and diligence in communicating with them and relaying back to them essential documentation and information.
Liana Rafaelle , Business Development Manager
Liana received 3 nominations for the work she has done with her portfolio. Over the past few months Liana has been involved in securing the Illawarra based clients and recently has been given the go ahead to implement and transform the service offering for a large aged care client. Liana has communicated well with the service team and this collaboration has helped everyone involved to make sure these clients receive the very best service.
Well deserved Liana and it’s been well recognised by all.
Christian Canavero, Service Technician
This is the second time Christian has won this award. The recognition came from the one clients who are a Schools. There were a number of changes to the service which Christian assisted the client, the client mentioned the following, “I definitely know our school is in safe hands and being looked after. Christian is a Godsend to our school”. When we received these acknowledgements we were so proud and flattered and this is a credit to Christian for the dedication and extra effort he puts in to delight Enviro’s customers.
Well done Christian, we all know that you take so much ownership for all the clients you service.

Gaye Brzick, Service Technician
Gaye is to be commended for her outstanding work ethic and reliability. She is frequently recognised by her peers and supervisors for these qualities. Well done Gaye, this is a very well deserved award. The work you have done to support key health service providers with their hygiene needs is well recognised. Our clients have consistently praised Gaye for the efforts in making sure their bins are collected and clean. The team at Enviro appreciates all the hard work you do.

Nick is a diligent service technician and service quality supervisor who has played an instrumental role in working closely with our clients on site audits and maintaining a strong relationship with stakeholders. Tira Walters, Service Supervisor
Meet Tira, a dedicated employee at Enviro-LCS, where she has diligently served for the past 17 years. Tira’s journey with Enviro-LCS began when she joined as a sanitary service driver and technician. Over the years, her hard work, attention to detail, geographic and site knowledge has led her to build robust relationships with her colleagues and clients, thus propelling her to the position of Sanitary Service Supervisor.
Tira understands the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment, especially in today’s world. Whether it’s conducting routine inspections, training new recruits, or implementing innovative hygiene solutions, Tira is always at the forefront.
Despite her years of experience, Tira remains as passionate and driven as ever. She firmly believes in Enviro-LCS’ mission of promoting health and well-being through effective hygiene practices. As she looks back on her 17-year journey with the company, Tira is grateful for the opportunities she’s had to make a difference in people’s lives and looks forward to many more years of service ahead.
